As soon as I took a look at all the fun papers in April's kit, and knowing that it was themed around the Brave Girls Club, I knew exactly what I wanted to do...make a compilation of my most favorite "A little bird told me...Daily Truth emails" from the Brave Girls themselves...if you aren't a subscriber yet...you need to be! I've actually been wanting to do this for a long time now...I just haven't had inspiration of what to use, and of course this month's kit was perfect for what I wanted to create! Plus it comes with a chipboard mini book in the kit! It was meant to be!
So first...I always take the book apart. That way I can work on each page individually...
*Use chipboard shapes as a template, I traced the flower onto the turquoise patterned paper...I will use it again on other pages too!
I printed each "daily truth message" onto cardstock...and then added to the page. It takes a little bit of time...but I wanted this book to look and resemble the emails that I get from them!
Lots of sewing...it adds so much to your pages!
I also made a BOY layout...
